Job Description Job Description POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for providing leadership and direction for all housekeeping and laundry activities of the hotel, ensuring the highest level of cleanliness for both the guest rooms and public areas; and maintaining guest satisfaction. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Supervise the operations of housekeeping and laundry areas to ensure the achievement of productivity and quality service standards. Inspect guest rooms, public areas, & back of house areas for cleanliness. Train, motivate, coach, counsel, & discipline according to company policy. Maintain a regularly scheduled cleaning and preventive maintenance program. Prepare weekly schedule for the housekeeping department based on the business Forecast. Maintain supply and linen inventories and order when needed according to company policy. Ensure housekeeping requests from guests or management are responded to in a timely, efficient, & friendly manner. Report and track lost and found articles. Participate in the hiring and evaluation process for housekeeping department. Be able to work a flexible schedule. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
